Tonight, February 19, AUP and the whole Adventist community are rejoicing in the Lord over the success of Weanne Myrrh Razon Estrada, BSN 2010 Summa Cum Laude who topped the recent Nurse Licensure Examinations (NLE). Another reason to rejoice is for Jaime Dela Roca Bonifacio Jr. who achieved 10th place.  Results were released by PRC and reported on the evening Saturday news on GMA channel 7.  This is the third time a graduate of AUP College of Nursing took the first place in the NLE.  The first one was in the 1960s by Ms. Pumarada; the second was in the late1990s with Irene Isturis as first placer who happens to be Weanne’s aunt. Irene is the wife of Jun Razon brother of Weanne’s mother.  Following is the post on the PRC website:

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 29,711 out of 84,287 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Ilocos Sur, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last December 2010.
