This school year’s faculty line-up sees a total of 29 including three new personnel. Mrs. Wilma Jueves Rosario will assist the Academy principal as finance officer and asst. philanthropic services director for the Academy. She has served AUP for many years in various departments as Director of Student Finance, Internal auditor, Manager of the Tailoring dept., and Controller of the Health Service dept.

The other two new faculty members are two Social Studies and Bible/Values teachers namely Mr. Asher Salvan Jr. who also serves as asst. dean of Eastern Hall boys dormitory and Mr. Jervenesense Florece. Both are taking subjects in the Graduate school. Mr. Salvan had been teaching in Thailand for the past 3 years while Mr.Florece has taught at Naga View College and served as church pastor in Batangas for four years. Both are graduates of Naga View College. They are substituting for Pastor Andy Burce who is on study leave to finish his masteral thesis. Other teachers who are also on study leave are DOST scholars Mr. Peter Datoy finishing his MS in Mathematics at UP Los Banos and Ms. Jeandalyn Andales enrolled as a MS Chemistry student at UP Diliman. Also on leave are Miss Sharon Abella, English teacher who is in the US for one semester and Filipino teacher Mrs. Perly Laguador. Mrs. Nera Valdez, PE and Social Studies teacher is on her 2^nd year of a two year study leave also in UP Diliman.

Meanwhile three teachers two of them in English and one in Filipino have decided to tie the knot last summer and last year and have adopted new surnames. Ms. Melu Joy Guillermo, is now addressed as Mrs. Evangelista. She and her husband Ephraim were wedded in Philippine International Church. Ephraim is a college instructor in the Biology department. On the other hand, Ms. Eleanor Econor is now Mrs. Imperio by virtue of her marriage to Mr. Joel Imperio at the Finster Hall. Joel teaches Filipino in Ragay, Cam. Norte. Returning to work after of year in Australia is the former Ms. Aileen Ranario, Filipino teacher who is now Mrs. Doherty after getting married to Mr. Matt Doherty.
